Identify:
 
Use the "Identify" tool to get information about a feature displayed on the map.

Click the "Identify" tool. This opens the "Identify Layers" window:
 Note: the Identify Layers Dialog box will make available only layers that are checked on and visible as the current map scale.

 

Select the layer to identify.  The layer will highlight in navy blue.

Click the [ OK ] button, then click on the map feature you wish to identify. The results are displayed in a pop-up window:

 

Click a new location on the map to select another feature.
