STRAP Number:
The STRAP is a 17 digits alpha/numeric parcel identifier which is in reference to section
township, range, area, block and lot. You can find this number on your Lee County tax bill or TRIM notice. The 17 character parcel identifier consisting of the following:

Section:  A section is typically a square mile of land containing 640 acres.  Section is the first two digits of the STRAP, and contains values from 01 to 36.

Township:  A Township is 6 sections tall and runs east-west across the county.  Township occupies the third and fourth position of the STRAP and contains values from 43 to 48 in Lee County.
Range:  A Range is  6 sections wide and runs north-south across the County.  The range occupies the fifth and sixth places in the STRAP and contains values from 20 to 27 in Lee County.
Area:  The area distinguishes a subdivision or City.  Area is two characters long with the following values:

Block:  The Block is a group of parcels within an Area and is 5 characters long.
Lot:  The Lot is the final identifier in the STRAP number and is 4 characters long.
